The 2024 Armbruster in Janesville, MN was a success. Chris and Betty Schmit did a great job of hosting the event. Eli vom Rohstahl (AKA Priest) ended up with 2nd place overall. Priest is the son of the male I own, Preacher vom Wild.
Once again this test was full of highs and lows. The high: Priest ends in second place. The low: Chief, the other dog I brought decided to drop the duck on the blind retrieve in the water and was disqualified.

The Armbruster is always a good time. Whether you’re running a dog or spectating. It’s a chance to meet up with friends you maybe only see once a year or once every few years and it’s a chance to meet new people who become friends. This year Germany was well-represented with several judges traveling to attend.
The 2025 Armbruster will be held in southern Illinois. Hope to see everyone there.
